The headboard is thick and rounded at the top, and the leather carries over it in a continuous skin that runs down the sides and across the plinth base without a break. Nothing is framed or trimmed — the whole bed is one wrapped volume, which is why the cognac reads so strongly as colour rather than as covering.
Leather is the material that improves with use, taking on shine and creases where hands and shoulders land. This one is built to earn that.
