A bench that has been talked into becoming a sofa.
The Pilo starts as a slim upholstered bench in sage green, then adds two loose rounded pillows as a back. Nothing is fixed or buttoned down, so the whole thing keeps the light, unfussy look of a bench while still being somewhere to sit properly.
Seat depth is shallow by design — this is upright seating, better for a hallway, the end of a bed or a room where a full sofa would crowd the floor. Slender black metal legs lift it clear of the ground, which keeps sightlines open and makes a narrow space feel less full than it is.
