A round rug built from tapered panels that spiral out from the centre like petals.
Each wedge is a slightly different shade of chestnut, tan and cream, and because they are cut narrow at the middle and wide at the rim, the whole thing turns — the eye follows the spiral outwards rather than landing anywhere. Natural markings run through several of the panels and no two are the same.
Round rugs are the answer under round tables, in entryways, and in any room with too many right angles already. This one is warm enough to carry a whole corner on its own.
