The Otto is built from stacked bouclé forms — a round seat, fat rolled arms, a cylindrical back — in a vivid cobalt that reads almost graphic against a neutral room. The bouclé texture takes the edge off the colour, giving it depth rather than flatness, and the whole thing is pleasingly solid to sit in: enveloping, low, and rounder than it looks.
It carries a corner on its own. Against pale walls or a cream sofa it does the work of a piece of art, and because there is no front or back to speak of, it can face into the room from anywhere.
