The full four-poster, in dark walnut, with the canopy curved.
The headboard is shaped rather than square — an upholstered panel rising to a soft crest between two turned walnut posts, with a curved canopy rail arching overhead to tie the four corners together. It is the detail that stops the bed reading as merely tall: the eye follows the arc rather than a hard rectangle.
This is a bed that sets the tone of a room instead of fitting into one. Give it height and a plain wall and let it do the talking.
