Cream linen and a black outline, and very little else.
The headboard is a plain rectangle of cream linen — no buttoning, no channelling, no shaping — held in a fine black metal surround that stops just short of touching it. That thin dark line is what keeps the panel from disappearing into a pale wall, and it is the only decoration the bed allows itself.
The result is a piece that recedes on purpose. In a small room it gives back visual space; in a busy one it is the quiet thing you rest your eyes on.
