One arched hoop of black metal, and that is the headboard.
There is no panel and no upholstery — just a single slim tube bent into an arch and fixed to the frame, so the wall shows straight through it. The headboard becomes a drawn line rather than a solid mass, which is why the bed takes up almost no visual room despite its footprint.
It suits a bedroom where the wall is already doing something: a colour worth seeing, a print, a run of morning light. The hoop frames all of it instead of blocking it.
