A dark medallion floating on a pale ground, its edges deliberately pixelated.
The centre is a block of charcoal that doesn't quite resolve into a shape — the patchwork squares step outwards from it so the outline breaks up into a jagged, almost digital edge. Around it, ivory, left plain.
The high contrast means it will anchor a room on its own. It is best seen from above with nothing much on it, so a reading corner, a bedroom, or a large living room where furniture sits around the rug rather than on it.
