The frame is where the interest sits: a deep black arch with natural cane woven into it, so a warm, open texture runs right around the cool dark outline. The two materials pull in opposite directions — one hard and graphic, one soft and handmade — and the contrast is what stops the piece reading as either austere or rustic.
