Horizontal oak slats stack into a compact block, spaced just far enough apart to let the light escape in narrow bands. The timber is pale and open-grained, so the whole piece stays light in colour even when it is off.
Lit, the glow comes through amber and low, with soft shadow lines cast either side — closer to a candle in effect than to a reading lamp. It suits a bedside table, a shelf, or the corner of a desk where a bit of warmth is more useful than actual brightness.
