The Arc is built from three tapered brass blades that rise from the floor and fold together into an arched hood at the top. The hood conceals the light source entirely, so what reaches the room is a soft wash rather than a visible bulb, and the lamp keeps its clean silhouette whether it is switched on or off.
Brass gives it weight and warmth, and the open tripod base means it reads as a slim object rather than a bulky one. It suits a corner beside a sofa, or a spot where a room needs height and a little quiet drama.
